Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 5 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in React JS asynchronous programming DevOps and various authentication and authorization protocols. This role involves working on hybrid model with day shifts. Experience in Cards & Payments domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React JS to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Implement asynchronous programming techniques to enhance application efficiency.
• Utilize DevOps practices to streamline the development and deployment process.
• Manage authentication and authorization processes using OAUTH and JSON Web Tokens.
• Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger.
• Write and execute unit tests using Jest Mocha and Jasmine to ensure code quality.
• Use Postman for API testing and validation.
• Develop server-side logic using ExpressJS to ensure seamless integration with front-end components.
• Handle data interchange formats like JSON to ensure smooth data flow between client and server.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support various application functionalities.
• Write clean maintainable and efficient JavaScript code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in React JS asynchronous programming and DevOps.
• Have experience with authentication and authorization protocols like OAUTH and JSON Web Tokens.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using Swagger for API documentation.
• Show competence in writing unit tests with Jest Mocha and Jasmine.
• Be skilled in using Postman for API testing.
• Have experience with ExpressJS for server-side development.
• Be proficient in handling JSON and designing RESTful APIs.
• Have strong JavaScript programming skills.
• Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with day shifts.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until February 19, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
