This position will be responsible to provide Project Management and capable technical duties to support the management of strategically important Traffic System and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Construction, Maintenance and Integration projects.

DUTIES

  • Responsible to provide project management and senior leadership to support the management of project outcomes in accordance with contract scope, schedule, budget, and contract terms; includes material procurement, subcontract management, billing, scheduling.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers; ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships within local team.
  • Manage and maintain project resources including materials, fleet and equipment.
  • Responsible for management of projects - including developing and updating project schedules, leading project meetings with customers, subcontractors and vendors; maintaining required project documentation (meeting minutes, material packing slips, subcontracts, certificates of insurance, etc.)
  • Ensure local team receives necessary training and certifications, and participates in required safety meetings.
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field with 5+ years of experience
  • Must have project management experience, knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work as part of a cooperative team.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and self-disciplined
  • Traffic or Intelligent Transportation System operations, maintenance and construction experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications including office automation, scheduling software and other project management tools.
  • Must have an acceptable DMV record to meet company driving standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, typically 6-8 hours per day, while working at a desk or computer.
  • Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling office tools or equipment.
  • Occasionally lifting or moving office supplies or equipment, typically weighing up to 20 pounds.

BUSINESS TRAVEL

  • Travel to project locations and company facilities across the various counties within the Tampa area as needed.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT
