We are currently hiring a Loan Officer for one of the top Credit Unions in the Albuquerque area. This position is excellent for someone that is relationship focused, looking to grow and build a career long term within a company, and is passionate about working in a Credit Union. This position offers a base salary with competitive commission as well!
*Description* * Responsible for creating an exceptional member experience through mortgage loans, real estate, lot construction and home equity loans * Conducts initial pre-qualification interviews and prepares loan application packages * Handles mortgage loan scheduling and documentation requirements * Generates mortgage loans and other credit union products and services through outbound calls and in person interactions (lunches, meetings, dinners, happy hours, etc.) * Expectation of cross-selling services from the credit union *Qualifications* MUST HAVE * 1-3 years of experience as a Loan Officer working with mortgage and home equity loans * Strong knowledge in determining credit worthiness and analyzing credit reports * Proficient in all mortgage calculations * Knowledge of credit union loan policies, products, procedures, processing * Knowledge of title reports, insurance, and appraisals * Thorough knowledge of Federal mortgage related laws * Proficient with mortgage related products, regulations, and processes for conventional, FHA, VA and adjustable-rate mortgages * Experience with member experience, identifying needs and providing solutions in a professional manner * Ability to influential and can create and maintain strong relationships * Ability to cross-sell various products and services based on member needs #prioritywest25 *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $17.30 - $17.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
