Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is currently hiring for a Senior Computer Program Analyst at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) in Lakehurst, NJ. NAWCADLKE is the premiere Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) and Aircraft Support Equipment (SE) research, development, test and evaluation, and sustainment installation supporting the US Navy. The primary job responsibilities of the Senior Computer Program Analyst are to be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications to meet business needs. Other duties include but are not limited to:

  • Analyzing user requirements, designing and writing efficient code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging programs, optimizing performance, and maintaining thorough documentation of processes and changes
  • Providing technical support and training to end-users and stays updated with industry trends to continuously improve and adapt systems for enhanced productivity and efficiency

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer programming or related scientific or technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Must have ten (10) years of computer programmer/analyst experience and a minimum 5 (five) years of programming software experience (e.g.. C++, JAVA) of the most current generation
  • Must be proficient in C++ and Java
  • Be comfortable with high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently
  • May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher or have the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
