You will manage flavor application process and provide complex technical expertise to guide operational excellence and develop strong cooperation with multiple customers, to support our goals.

Working Locations: Cranbury NJ, Cincinnati Ohio, or Elgin Illinois (all location hybrid model 4 in/1 remote)

Responsibilities:
Flavor Application and Creation:
Execute daily brief-related tasks and manage the flavor selection, evaluation and application development, leading customer visits, product development and product presentations at the customer site. Lead evaluations of flavors in food applications for briefs, research projects and portfolio evaluations. Select optimal flavors, and seasonings for projects according to specific requirements (i.e. customer, regulatory, legislation, costs) and proactively take responsibility for suggesting updates using flavors with high performance in common applications. Identify appropriate flavor delivery systems and technologies for customer projects in multiple applications.
Knowledge Sharing and Mentoring:
Serve as the technical expert and advisor to marketing, sales, flavor and seasoning creation, and customers for multiple applications.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with multiple customers; able to gain their trust and respect. Participate as a local champion for new technologies.
Coach, train, and motivate technicians, technologists and scientists. You will recommend appropriate lab/pilot plant equipment for capital project investments.
Project Management:
Lead large development projects including the largest customer briefs and technical development projects in selected application areas. Lead customer projects and be considered a leader in customer relationship skills in a specific applications area. Use technical solving skills in multiple application areas. Prepare/present, technical presentations.
Your Professional Profile Includes:
* Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology. Culinary helpful.
* 7+ years of experience in a food applications lab, production, or related area
* Experience in product development Savory (Sauces/Soups/Dressings/Snacks)
* Experience in product/industry commercialization
