Co-Occurring Coordinator at Spring Harbor Hospital

Spring Harbor Hospital is hiring a Co-Occurring Coordinator to support patients with substance use and mental health challenges.

In this role, you'll facilitate group and individual therapy, provide recovery resources, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead therapeutic group sessions focused on addiction, mental health, and recovery skills.
  • Provide individual consultations and support for treatment goals.
  • Maintain resource lists and collaborate with treatment teams for comprehensive care.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and billing in the EMR system.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and compliance with hospital policies.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Education must align with Certification/Licensure.
  2. License/Certifications: Certified, licensed, registered or credentialed in a specific health or social services profession required. SMART, CADC or other additional certifications preferred.
  3. Experience: Five years of experience working with the psychiatric/co-occurring populations required. Experience in an inpatient setting preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Extensive knowledge of recovery process.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
