This role will have compensation between $25-$30 hourly and expected to work from the operations center M-F. Summary: Effectively and efficiently promotes, processes, underwrites and services UNIFY Financial Credit Union Real Estate Loan Products, Services, and Programs. Responsibilities:
- Ensures a full and complete working knowledge of all Credit Union Real Estate loan products, programs, policies, procedures and all governing regulatory laws and guidelines.
- Ensures a full and complete working knowledge of "Servicing" operational functions.
- Ensures a full and complete working knowledge of all operational functions required to performed mortgage servicing job, including but not limited to, ensuring all regulatory aspects of Escrow impound accounts are adhered to, all required government reporting is completed on or prior to the deadline, all required Investor reporting is completed on or prior to the deadline, ensuring all regulatory aspects of variable rate loans are adhered to, and complete detailed due diligence quality examinations of loan files as required for regulatory and secondary market investor compliance.
- Meets and exceeds Department performance standards and production goals.
- Responds to member and staff inquiries within established time periods; (i.e. phone messages within the same day/ mail within two working days).
- Completes all assignments on or prior to given deadlines.
- Assists in preparing and arrange the dissemination of information to members and others that will project a favorable image for the Credit Union.
- Attends industry / professional seminars, training, etc.
- Ensures full compliance with UNIFY Financial Credit Union Service Standards and the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent required with three to four years of loan processing and/or underwriting experience, preferably in a financial institution.
- Requires an analytical ability to conduct an analysis of applicant's credit status and recommend alternatives where the analysis reveals an insufficient financial position, a broad knowledge of credit fundamentals and lending regulations, and knowledge of Secondary Market underwriting and servicing requirements.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and have proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software applications.
