Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst to work on site with the Army G-4, in the Pentagon. This position cannot be worked remotely.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

    Canvass databases and consolidate information from numerous sources into a single data base or spreadsheet and manipulate the data for analysis of courses of action. Provide analytical, functional and database application in support of secondary items management. Perform data collection utilizing systems from Army Property System of Record (ASPR) and data analytics platforms.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of supply chain operations. Provide analysis on various supply chain metrics to Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics (DASD(Log)
  • Conduct quarterly non-mission capable, supply and maintenance analysis on Army Status of Resources and Training System (ASORTS) equipment using Army Materiel Status System (AMSS) data. Conduct analysis and provide reports monthly regarding Supply Chain Responsiveness Indicators (SCRI) to highlight potential supply readiness issues or trends. Maintain an ongoing trend of fully mission capable (FMC), partial mission capable (PMC), non-mission capable supply (NMCS), non-mission capable maintenance (NMCM), and NMC rates.
  • Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations with demonstrable benefits in business performance. Conduct analysis of multi-class supply reports for equipment availability trends and analysis, Class IX readiness reports on high visibility weapons systems, expected demands for incoming/rotating force structure, analysis supporting the Army and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) supply readiness planning.
  • Executes entries for Serialized Item Management (SIM) requests and appeals that are submitted by Lifecycle Management Commands (LCMCs) and units. Prioritize and adjudicate SIM items in the queue. Participate in meetings hosted by Office of the Secretary of Defense, Army Materiel Command (AMC), Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC), Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM), and Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) that address SIM issues, Master Data Governance, SIM Rodeo, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Master Data Sub Integrated Product Team (IPT), and PM Army Data and Analytics Platforms (ARDAP) (former AESIP) ERP Integration IPT to further develop and incorporate SIM.
  • Provides reports on backlog and workload of SIM entry.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of work experience preferred. Degree in supply chain, engineering, economics, operations research, mathematics, or a related discipline preferred.
    • Superior quantitative and analytic skills, including the ability to use spreadsheets, databases, and manipulate the data to analyze courses of action or demonstrate supply chain performance.
    • Knowledge of AESIP, AR-COP, GCSS-Army, LIW, LMP, AMSS, MILSTRIP.
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.
    • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
  • This position requires an active security clearance at the secret level. You must be a US citizen.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Master's degree or higher in related discipline.
  • DoD or Army experience preferred.
  • Working knowing of DoD or Army supply chain and repair parts issue and return processes.
  • Familiarity with equipment readiness reporting and associated reporting systems.
  • Experience with Army Vantage platform desired.

Targeted Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000
