Job Summary: We are seeking skilled PC Technicians to join our 1Desktop project team. The primary responsibility of this role is to image new devices, including laptops and desktops, ensuring they meet the standardized configurations required. The ideal candidates will have a strong technical experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Project Overview: The 1Desktop project is a critical initiative aimed at standardizing devices across this company to create a unified and efficient healthcare system. By standardizing laptops and desktops, the project will improve operational efficiency, reduce IT complexities, and enhance the overall quality of care provided to patients. Top 3 Skills: 1.Expertise in operating system deployment and imaging tools (6 month minimum) 2.Strong understanding of hardware compatibility and configuration 3.Troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues Key Responsibilities: *Image and configure new workstations (laptops and desktops) according to standardized specifications via network or USB. *Install and update software applications and operating systems. *Identify and resolve issues encountered during the imaging process. *Address errors during image deployment and making necessary adjustments. *Prepare hardware for imaging by verifying functionality and compatibility. *Manage inventory of computer hardware to ensure sufficient units are available for imaging. *Coordinate with project managers and other IT staff to ensure project timelines are met. *Communicate with end users regarding imaging updates and potential disruptions. *Ensure all devices meet security and compliance standards. *Maintain detailed records of imaging activities, including successes and failures. *Create documentation for the imaging process, including procedures and troubleshooting guides. *Work within QuickBase and ServiceNow for inventory tracking and ticketing. *Unbox IT equipment and disposing of dunnage. *Perform additional desktop technician duties as required throughout the project lifecycle, such as hardware deployment, end-user support, IT inventory management, telephony support, and data intake. *May be required to provide training and support to end-users on new devices. *May be required Assist with the deployment and setup of devices at various locations. *Skills* Imaging, Windows, Desktop, Windows 10, Troubleshooting, Install, Deployment, Active directory, Customer service, servicenow, inventory tracking *Top Skills Details* Imaging,Windows,Desktop,Windows 10,Troubleshooting,Install,Deployment *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience. *Proven experience as a PC Technician or similar role. *Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and imaging software. *Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and compliance standards is a plus. *Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. *Strong communication and interpersonal skills. *Ability to work independently and as part of a team. *Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
