Description

The Marketing Consultant III is responsible for strategy development, campaign planning, and execution of marketing plans to efficiently support Medica's Individual & Family Business services and products. Creates marketing plans and executes on the timely delivery of media channels (digital media, traditional (direct mail, out of home billboards), TV (broadcast & streaming, etc.) for go to market readiness, and support reporting and performance management of media plans.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategy Development:



  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing media for Medica's brand and individual & family business acquisition and member experience communications.
  • Collaborate with internal MX team and stakeholder to align on marketing plans to business goals and priorities.


Content Creation and Management:



  • Oversee the creation of compelling, on-brand content across a variety of formats, including digital, TV, print, email, and social media.


  • Ensure content resonates with target audiences and drives engagement.


Campaign Execution:



  • Develop and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including advertising, PR, digital marketing, and social media.
  • Coordinate with design and creative teams to ensure materials are high-quality, on-brand, and on-time.


Stakeholder Collaboration:



  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, product, and leadership teams) to ensure communications align with company priorities.
  • Provide guidance on communication strategies to enhance customer experience and brand presence.


Analysis and Reporting:



  • Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications campaigns.
  • Use data to adjust strategies and improve future campaigns.


Brand Management:



  • Ensure consistency in the Medica brand across all communications and marketing channels.
  • Maintain and strengthen brand positioning through clear, consistent messaging.



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 5 years of work experience beyond degree


  • Extensive experience in marketing, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience project managing with use of document management systems (Robohead, WorkFront, etc)
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally.



This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the designated office, Minnetonka MN, for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.

The full salary range for this position is $68,800 - $118,000. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
