Duties and Responsibilities: Under the instruction and oversight of a Control Operator - Tier 2, Control Operator - Tier 3, or Lead Control Operator, Control Operator - Tier 1 employees will be required to: * Operate and troubleshoot all equipment related to gas turbines, steam turbines, and plant auxiliary equipment during routine, abnormal, and emergency conditions. Additional Tasks - PEC Control Operator - Tier 1 Under the instruction and oversight of a Control Operator - Tier 2, Control Operator - Tier 3, or Lead Control Operator, Control Operator - Tier 1 employees will be required to: * Operate control panels for peaker plants, energy storage sites, solar plants, and synchronous condensers during routine, abnormal, and emergency operations. Required Qualifications: * Two (2) years of related Control Operator experience within electric utility, generation plant, mining, military, or similar fields. This is a Union Represented position - Represented by Local IBEW 465. OFFICE: Work onsite at a company facility due to the nature of the duties and responsibilities of the position. Field/Plant Operations Full-time $117,520.00 $132,860.00 $148,200.00 Note: The salary for this position is governed by the terms of a collective bargaining agreement.
