Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Finance teams to identify process improvements based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop actionable solutions.
- Utilize Microsoft Access, Excel, and Power BI to collect, analyze, and generate reports, providing recommendations to optimize financial processes and performance.
- Build strong relationships across departments to extend process improvements beyond the Finance team, contributing to company-wide initiatives.
- Perform internal data audits, system evaluations, and process assessments to ensure the integrity, efficiency, and accuracy of organizational data within Finance.
- Lead system test planning, data discovery, and evaluation during software implementations, enhancements, and upgrades to ensure data integrity and effective use of new technology.
- Create and maintain formal reporting through Power BI, including the development of dashboards and additional ad-hoc reports to address business challenges or answer key questions.
- Support the Business Partners Team with vendor and customer updates, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a financial services or data analysis role, with a strong background in using data to inform business decisions and process optimization.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess processes, identify issues, and offer solutions.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Power BI for data management and reporting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-focused mindset.
