ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing both MEMS manufacturing and Probe Head Assembly procedures in factory production operations, including the equipment, staff and processes on the production floor
- Evaluating each station of the production process to maintain optimum efficiency. Manage the production team and oversee scheduling and day-to-day production activities
- Escalating WIP materials issues to responsible engineering team to minimize production down time
- Enforcing all safety, HR and employment policies on the production floor
- Creating and overseeing employee training to increase production, enhance safe operations and ensure profitability
- Inspecting products for quality and accuracy prior to shipping
- Maintaining communication between management and employees to ensure that necessary policies are understood and followed
- Ensuring that the flow of resources like raw materials is maintained and that production items are delivered as needed and used properly and efficiently
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- A bachelor's degree in engineering degree or related background preferred, with minimum 5 years supervisor in similar or related manufacturing operation management experience
- Ability to create and adhere to effective schedule
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Firm understanding of safety regulations including OSHA, SARA and HAZWOPER
- Semiconductor manufacturing line or Cleanroom operation experience is a plus
- Ability to complete written reports legibly and accurately
The pay range for this role in Baldwin Park, CA is between $94,100 and $123,480
. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
