Staffmark is hiring a Cost Accountant for our client in Osceola, AR. If you're ready to contribute your skills and expertise to a growing company, we want to hear from you!

Shift: 1st shift

As a Cost Accountant, you will work closely with the accounting and operations teams to provide accurate and timely financial information, assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process to support the company's goals. You'll also play a key role in identifying cost drivers, developing meaningful metrics, and communicating business decisions to both teams.

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with Operations to create accurate budgets and forecasts
  • Identify cost drivers and develop key metrics for decision-making
  • Communicate with both Operations and Accounting regarding variances
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure accurate financial records
  • Prepare and coordinate information for the Management Team and Auditors
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting in manufacturing
  • Experience with inventory transactions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Ability to assist with special projects
  • Hybrid role (onsite and home office) with in-person meetings required
  • Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and stand/bend as needed
