We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Infrastructure Engineer (E-Communications) to join our Technology Services Group (TSG) via our Infrastructure Engineering team. This role is to be located in our Pittsburgh or Lake Mary (Northern Orlando, FL) office via 3 days in office per week.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Design and engineer Smarsh Vantage communication capture solutions for next generation electronic communications systems aligned with BNY Mellon architecture, development and security standards.
• Lead technical interface with the Smarsh vendor related to product features/roadmap, bug identification/resolution. Lead for engineering level technical troubleshooting with vendor engineering and product teams
• Create and maintain design and as-built drawings, documentation and runbooks for application
• Actively use JIRA for managing, prioritizing and distributing development workload
• Research new technologies and implement/evaluate proof-of-concept solutions
• perform product and infrastructure design activities which will require extensive research and analysis
• Maintain key vendor relationships; engage with external partners/agencies where needed to leverage appropriate services and technology
• Evaluate new versions/service packs for existing deployments and create packages and procedures for upgrade installation
• Develop best practices and playbooks around Technical operation of electronic communications environment
• Engage as part of a team designing and implementing Global email, Communications and Collaboration using Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Teams and related products

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
• 10+ plus years of experience implementing and supporting Smarsh Vantage/Connect Capture on-premises server environments running on Windows and SQL server.
• 10+ plus years of experience planning and running small development efforts as a technical lead using a sprint/agile style.
• 3 plus years of experience implementing and supporting third party vendor applications in a windows server/SQL server environments.
• 3 plus years of experience developing/programming scripts to support installation and configuration management of complex applications in a Microsoft server environment
