This opportunity is exclusive only to Simmons University Nursing students and members of ALANA and Dotson Bridge and Mentoring program. Why These Roles are Important? Physicians and interdisciplinary colleagues highly respect the nursing staff at Mass General Brigham for their clinical expertise in providing integrated and compassionate care to adult patients. Positions are available for Patient Care Assistant 1 (PCA) and Unit Coordinator (UC) in all specialty areas of Mass General Brigham for students of the Dotson Nursing Fellowship and the Simmons University Nursing program. The Patient Care Assistant I (PCA) role supports the healthcare team under RN supervision. The Unit Coordinator play a critical role in patient care by serving as the central source of information by communicating with patients, families, and medical staff. Open to Dotson Nursing Fellowship and Simmons University Nursing students, the position offers per diem opportunity, with flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
