JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet customer and company expectations.
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including scope, cost, and schedule while ensuring compliance with governmental or commercial contract requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones, resolving issues and mitigating risks effectively.
  • Manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and report progress to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project deliverables.
  • Implement project management best practices in alignment with organizational and industry standards, driving continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to refine project goals, develop strategies, and ensure projects are aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure that safety and environmental protocols are followed according to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and project coordinators, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Utilize advanced project management tools and software for tracking, reporting, and communication to ensure transparency and efficiency.

Education, Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field (required); Master's degree in Project Management or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 25 years of experience in project management within key commercial, industrial, or government contracting environment (required).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
  • Must receive a satisfactory pre-hire drug screen and background check.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements.
