Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Project Coordinator to join them. You will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA

As a Project Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of driving organizational development and continuous improvement. Here are some key highlights of the role:

  • Facilitate Department Projects: Work with various stakeholders to inform, assess, share, support, and identify areas for development.

  • Develop and Implement Teams: Create engaging and impactful teams to enhance work area performance.

  • Advocate for Resources: Justify resource allocation with compelling business cases to support continuous improvement.

  • Foster Moog Culture: Help teams find purpose and align with Moog's values.

  • Use Development Strategies: Apply Lean Principles, Agile Workflow, and Visual Management to improve outcomes.

  • Assess and Monitor Performance: Establish assessments to measure effectiveness and report performance data.

  • Maintain Compliance Documentation: Keep rosters and attendance records, and follow up on potential conflicts or deficiencies.

  • Encourage Improvements: Remove obstacles, create recognition systems, and connect people with solutions.

  • Capture Key Learnings: Document and share valuable lessons from innovative projects.

To be considered for Project Coordinator you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience or an associate degree with 7 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in Lean manufacturing, coaching, team leadership, and meeting facilitation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and other project management tools.

Salary Range Transparency:

Blacksburg, VA $65,000.00-$85,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
