Position Overview

We seek an energetic and results-driven Sales Development Associate to collaborate with our sales and marketing teams. As a key team member, you will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and contribute to our revenue growth. This role is ideal for individuals with excellent communication skills, enthusiasm for sales, and a strong drive to succeed.

  • Collaborate with clients to comprehend their products, services, and target audiences and develop tailored customer engagement and sales strategies.
  • Identify potential customers through direct outreach initiatives and sales process
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with potential customers, guiding them through the sales process and addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to develop prospecting and lead generation strategies.
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM), HubSpot software to track qualified leads, interactions, and sales progress.
  • Work closely with marketing to follow up on inbound leads and campaigns.
  • Meet or exceed key performance metrics, including lead generation and conversion rates.
  • Assist with high-severity requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in B2B business development, sales, or customer service-based roles.
  • Industrial Gas industry experience a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build rapport and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Results-oriented attitude with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • A self-starter with strong organization and time management skills who can work independently and as part of a team.

While performing this job, the employee must sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone, keyboard reach, stoop, and kneel. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time non-exempt position, overtime-eligible, onsite, and eligible for a flex remote day after 90 days of employment.
