Associate Category Manager - Indirect

Summary:

In this role, you will assist Category Managers with managing and developing contract strategies for the Indirect category. You will manage the portfolio administrative functions and coordinate the fulfillment of the contract requirements. This role will also respond to and bring resolution to all pricing, process, and contract related inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate portfolio administrative functions to fulfill contract requirements and support overall portfolio management.
• Review and update contract lists and communication materials to ensure accurate client communications.
• Assist in preparing supplier meeting agendas, business reviews, value proposals, and category insights.
• Track and report contract savings based on established protocols.
• Maintain supplier and vendor data by completing requests for contract set-up and updates.
• Manage the contracting database to locate, view, and track contracts efficiently.
• Conduct basic market research and assessments to support category strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contracting compliance and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.
• No previous experience required.
• Experience in contract management and portfolio administration in the indirect category, including tracking and reporting financial performance would be a plus.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.
• Ability to analyze, interpret and present data.
• Understanding of project management concepts.

Estimated Hiring Range:
