Position Summary The Video Producer will be responsible for supporting all production and post-production efforts both in Studio and offsite. The Video Producer will work directly with the Manger, Video Production, Director of Studio Operations, Production team, Creative, Social and eCommerce teams to shoot and edit content for TV, Web, Social and Email channels of Living Spaces. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for all assigned video project deliverables, whether in preproduction, production, or postproduction

  • Act as independent creative decision maker for all assigned productions

  • Provide direction and feedback to Studio crew

  • Independently lead video productions (from preproduction to postproduction) as assigned, without the need for supervision

  • Autonomously drive social video concepts that reflect current trends and social media, while still maintaining the Living Spaces brand message

  • Direct on-set TV production, social video productions, or any other video production to assigned to them, including the direction of external camera operators (i.e. Techno Jib, Steadicam, DoP, 1st AC, etc.)

  • Mentor and guide Video Specialist in cinematography direction and editing technique

  • Solely capture video content as assigned using RED, DSLR, Black Magic Cinema Camera or similar

  • Independently accountable for capturing functionality, features and uniqueness of products, by themselves or in room settings

  • As assigned, capture audio using boom mic, wired/wireless lav microphones as required

  • Maintain video equipment and lighting within the Studio, including inventory accountability

  • Manage transfers of all footage from all cameras (RED, Black Magic, Canon, etc.) and archive in correct locations

  • Adhere to all video editing SOP practices for all postproduction deliverables including but not limited to TV, Social, Product, E-commerce, Recruiting and more. (i.e. ingest, project organization, editing workflow, exports, audio mix, mastering, etc.).

  • Quickly implement notes from creatives and internal clients

  • Independently meet video editing schedules of internal productions and autonomously handles communications as needed

  • Regularly update spreadsheets and project collaboration tools with project status, notes, and any other metrics required

  • Ability to travel to offsite production locations

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college in Marketing, Videography, Editing or related degree. Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in video editing and production. Experience optimizing video and production workflows. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have proficient experience Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Media Encoder. Experience with After Effects and DaVinci Resolve a plus. Must have experience operating digital video cameras and understand fundamentals of such topics as codes, frame rate, white balance, ISO, aperture, etc. Familiarity with Hardware: iMac Pro (2017 or similar. Familiarity with Software: Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, InDesign), Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 15.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

Compensation: $72,150.00 - $96,200.00

Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
