Engineering Technician VI (SLQ-32 & SLQ-59)

TRISTAR is seeking a Engineering Technician VI (SLQ-32 & SLQ-59) for our government customer in Crane, IN

• The Engineering Technician VI with ability to perform non-routine and complex assignments
• Specific tasks will include troubleshooting/removal/installation of SLQ-32 and SLQ-59 shipboard systems

Position Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, construct, and support devices/equipment as needed to test/troubleshoot multiple DOD Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) systems
• Support ship removal/installs/training as necessary to ensure ECM systems periodicities are met
• Analyze test data related to Electronic Warfare (EW) RF specification parameters
• Review performance specification/performance requirements to ensure current processes are relevant
• Update performance specifications as necessary to meet ever-changing requirements
• Review current hardware for improvements and offer enhancement concepts to hardware as needed

• 3 years' experience
• Ability to travel for installs/diagnostics/repair in support of SLQ-32 and SLQ-59 systems, subsystems, and components
• Must be a US Citizen
• An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one

Education and Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical certificate or two years equivalent experience
