Overview

This position is a payee representative on behalf of enrolled clients and verifies and processes deposits and payments for all payee services clients. Ensures all payments made out of payee account are accurate and timely. The position requires a "customer friendly" service orientation in a behavioral health setting. Work closely with behavioral health staff. Process and record Trillium Place client and tenant payments, including process all Trillium Place deposits.

Responsibilities

Manage Representative Payee Accounts and Trillium Place Payments and Deposits
  • Receive budget worksheet for each payee and reviews for accuracy, including identifying issues and errors.
  • Maintain client information, including financial information and budgets in Quickbooks software.
  • Work in collaboration with Case Managers and Community Support Specialists.
  • Responsible for all aspects of client bills, including frequent preparation and delivery of all clients' checks by due dates.
  • Prepare client month-end balances for Finance.
  • Collect and document all Trillium Place payments, including maintaining payment documents and making bank deposits.
Maintain Client Bank Accounts
  • Review client bank accounts for accuracy and monitor bank balances to ensure adequate funds to maintain client financial security.
  • Reconcile all client bank accounts.
  • Meet with bank personnel to open and close client bank accounts.
  • Coordinate with bank personnel on any other client bank account needs, including address updates.
    *Set up direct deposit for payee clients.
Social Security Administration (SSA) Responsibilities and Audits
  • Interact with SSA personnel to coordinate client benefits to ensure clients do not lose benefits.
  • Work with SSA to ensure client benefits are restored in a timely manner.
  • Provides annual reporting of client expenses to SSA.
  • Prepare documentation for all audits and reviews.
  • Represents organization for all SSA audits and reviews.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $15.45per hour - $25.03per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
