Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $10.00 - Midpoint: $17.50 (Hourly N0) Department/Organization: 207551 - WVUA 23 Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00pm to 7:00pm, 9:00pm to 11:00pm Job Summary: The Production Assistant completes a wide array of tasks in the assistance of video, audio, and multi-media production. Additional Department Summary: Operates studio and control room equipment during broadcasts. Trains student interns on operation of studio and control room equipment. Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and some video, audio, and/or multi-media production assistance experience. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions. Skills and Knowledge: Good organizational and time management skills. Working knowledge of computers. Preferred Qualifications: Major in Communications, Broadcasting, Journalism, Photography, Creative Writing, or Humanities. Experience with television production, such as video/audio equipment, prompter, graphics and studio camera work.
