A Brief Overview

This position is responsible for the Q Sight application and the effective and efficient integration and utilization of this technology in our applicable clinical environments (Surgical Services, Cath Lab, EP Lab, Interventional Radiology). This individual will provide support to front line Q Sight users and serve as the liaison between Supply Chain, Contracting, the clinical end users, leadership, and the Q Sight Support Team. This individual will provide guidance and leadership to assigned resources and drive outcomes through the effective analysis of data and through collaborating with peers and resources throughout the organization. Will collaborate with leadership to develop/support a vision, guiding/operating principles and team commitment to corporate and local inventory management. contracting and customer service strategies.

What You Will Do



  • Responsible for overall Q Sight performance at assigned site and for assigned staff. Includes Surgery, EP/CATH Lab, IR. Responsible to oversee Q Sight inventory budget in excess of $2,000,000 and annual spend in excess of $15,000,000.
  • Evaluates Near Expiring Inventory and Dead Stock reports to address opportunities to redeploy inventories across the system in collaboration with peers
  • Evaluates Instant Add Reports daily - troubleshoots issues to ensure accurate charge captures, inventory management and end user experience
  • Coordinates the sale/transfer of inventories to peer UH Facilities or 3rd parties Identifies these opportunities, tracks impact and reports monthly. Ensures efficient transaction process
  • Serves as the lead for all assigned resources working to manage the Q Sight assigned inventories. Supervises those employees assigned and mentors/monitors performance.
  • Coordinates applicable inventory additions/deletions for assigned areas. Ensures contract compliance and works in collaboration with internal/external resources. Reports contract opportunities or contract compliance issues effectively
  • Serves as a resource and a back-up for staff assigned front line Q Sight duties (day to day Q Sight stock management). Identifies staffing gaps and collaborates across Q Sight user base for support (multi-disciplinary)
  • Initiates and maintains positive relationships with management, patients, co-workers and customers. Handles escalated customer service calls.
  • Collaborates with Value Analysis committees when reviewing products.
  • Lead team members to achieve supply cost reductions, utilization improvements and equipment/product/service standardization while efficiently and effectively adhering to Corporate Supply Chain contract processes and guidelines.
  • Create departmental goals for supply and utilization related cost savings and prepare framework for successful completion of goals.
  • Build professional relationships and interact with clinical end-users and leadership to garner initiative support and collaboration.
