SUMMARY OF POSITION

Seeking a paid intern for summer 2025.

Dates- 5/28/25-8/7/25

Hybrid Schedule- Tues/Weds/Thurs in office M/F remote

Shurtape Technologies, LLC, is a leading manufacturer and marketer of adhesive tape and consumer home and office products. Our purpose is to provide better, easier solutions for everyday household and workplace tasks. We offer products under recognizable brand names such as Duck, FrogTape, Painter's Mater, Shurtape, T-Rex and Kip.

We're looking for a hard-working, data-driven individual to work with us as our Marketing Communications Analyst Intern. This is a great, hands-on opportunity for college students or recent graduates within data analytics and/or data science majors who are looking to build experience and apply their knowledge and skills to our real-world marketing communications challenges. Primary responsibilities for this internship will be assisting with data collection, processing, analysis and reporting with regard to the Company's marketing communications programs and campaigns, as well as providing insights for optimization of our marketing communications strategies.



Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

    Developing data architecture to effectively measure marketing tactical metrics
  • Pulling and aggregating data from various sources and blending data to create meaningful analytics and insights with Tableau
  • Designing Tableau Analytics and Dashboards for Marketing Communications, Marketing and Product Management that communicate marketing communications tactical performance
  • Communicating insights from marketing analytics to help the Marketing Communications, Marketing and Product Management teams with recommendations for continuous improvement


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in data analytics, data science, business analytics, statistics or a related field (or recently graduated)
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities
  • Tableau Creator level experience (creating data sources, visualization and dashboards)
  • Marketing tactical understanding that includes website metrics, social metrics, advertising metrics, etc.
  • Ability to dedicate up to 40 hours/week
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, poised, resourceful, enthusiastic

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Ability to work in front of computer for extended periods of time
  • Occasional standing, sitting, walking, and talking on the phone

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a fast-paced work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined above which requires ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to many internal departments in a fast-changing environment. Many duties listed above are time-sensitive and have strict deadlines for completion.
