Material Handler

The Role:

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Material Handler to join our team.

The Material Handler's primary responsibility is to move raw materials to the appropriate workstations and track information in SAP.

HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY 7AM-3:30PM

What you'll do:

• Move raw materials to the appropriate workstations

• Complete SAP (warehouse management system) transactions

• Complete specified function of 6s responsibilities: specifically sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety

• Put product away physically into location and in SAP

• Ability to use Fork Truck and ladders safely and effectively to support daily company and department objectives.

• Supports inventory control in conducting weekly cycle counts, delegated inventory tasks and adhering to implemented process improvements.

• Kit finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy

• Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain on-time kitting

• Work in a team environment

What We Seek:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous warehousing experience required (1-3 years)

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs daily

• Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time

• Ability to operate a forklift

• Ability to use a computer

• Possess a valid driver's license to drive company truck (no CDL required)

• SAP familiarity a plus

• Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment

• Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly

• Compensation is $19 HR.
