The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Strategic Lead, and bolded to support our government customer located in Orlando, FL. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead strategic initiatives that drive mission growth, identify organizational opportunities, leverage new technologies, and enhance operational efficiencies, engaging with multiple leadership teams to develop and implement efficient solutions and approaches.
- Scope, lead, and manage strategic projects from initiation to execution, ensuring successful completion of special projects that support both short-term mission objectives and long-term strategic goals of NAWCTSD.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with leadership teams across NAWCTSD, collaborating closely to ensure the successful execution of strategic training, development initiatives, and program implementations.
- Continuously analyze and assess business and project needs, identifying key challenges and opportunities to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Oversee and enhance the development and implementation of training programs, proactively identifying potential problems, addressing issues, and removing roadblocks to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
- Exercise informed judgment on strategic initiatives, key projects, and operational challenges, taking appropriate actions to positively impact the organization and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Drive a common understanding of performance metrics, issue status, and project progress across leadership teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear, transparent, and timely communication throughout the development and implementation process.
- Improve execution velocity and foster effective teamwork by cultivating proactive, timely, and accurate communication, promoting collaboration across teams to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the program and organizational growth.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Related Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years related work experience
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, driving change and delivering results by influencing stakeholders and prioritizing work effectively across multiple teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of quickly assessing issues, challenges, and opportunities, and bringing immediate value to new initiatives.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience in consulting, strategic planning, and cross-functional project management to ensure the successful execution of mission-critical initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to co-create and collaborate effectively with senior DoD, military leaders, and high-level decision-makers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- DoD experience, Navy experience preferred
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have or be able to obtain Secret Clearance.
