The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Program Manager, and bolded to support our government customer located in Orlando, FL. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage a program overseeing a team of 100+ personnel, including leads and direct reports.
- Oversee development and operations teams, ensuring efficient work allocation, quality control, and performance standards.
- Ensure adherence to quality requirements and objectives throughout the program lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership across implementation, planning, integration, data validation, quality assurance, delivery, and sustainability of solutions.
- Manage program budgets, plan for infrastructure evolution, and work with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve issues, enhancing operational performance.
- Identify opportunities for technical and process improvements, aligning tasks and services with organizational goals.
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including customers, developers, and subject matter experts.
- Lead strategic initiatives that foster mission growth, operational efficiencies, and the development of effective training solutions.
- Manage projects from initiation to execution, supporting both short-term objectives and long-term strategic goals.
- Collaborate with leadership teams across NAWCTSD to ensure successful execution of initiatives and projects.
- Exercise informed judgment on strategic initiatives, key projects, and operational issues impacting the organization.
- Ensure clear communication of performance, issue status, and progress to leadership and stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent experience)
- PMP certification preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant Program or Contract Management experience, with specific expertise in DoD, Navy, or Training Development and Delivery.
- At least ten (10) years of experience in Training Development and Delivery, with a strong track record of managing complex training programs and initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex programs and projects, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and change management, while prioritizing tasks and driving results through influence and effective relationships.
- Proven ability to quickly assess challenges, identify solutions, and bring immediate value to projects, leveraging both business and technical acumen.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development, collaboration, and cross-functional coordination to achieve strategic goals across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in project management with the ability to scope, plan, and manage initiatives from inception through execution, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with long-term objectives.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, developers, and subject matter experts, fostering collaboration and driving shared understanding.
- Expertise in estimating projects and developing basis of estimates, ensuring effective resource and budget management.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic and evolving environment, balancing technical, operational, and strategic demands while continually pursuing personal and professional growth.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with various project management tools and software including MS Project, JIRA or similar project tracking tools, SharePoint, etc.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
