Summary of Job Description:

The Sr. Financial Analyst position is responsible for constructing and tracking CFT investment portfolio data, including both Real Estate and Alternative portfolios, and assigning value to the portfolios based on analysis and CFT valuation policies. This position supports the Executive Director, FP&A through position-level valuation work and by adjusting financial statements of investment vehicles based on the valuation placed on them by CFT. The Senior Financial Analyst contributes to improving reporting processes, optimizing financial systems, and delivering insights to senior leadership.

You'll get a chance to:

  • Conducts detailed financial analyses to support investment decisions and performance evaluations. Creates asset-specific financial models to facilitate data-driven portfolio performance assessment and scenario planning.
  • Supports the strategic asset allocation process by building financial models to predict future returns and allocation targets by asset class.
  • Assists in the preparation of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning reports and collaborates with other departments to ensure alignment of financial data and reporting.
  • Assigns value to portfolios through analysis and CFT valuation policies. Works with the Executive Director, FP&A and CFT leadership on the creation and administration of valuation policies.
  • Supports FP&A through position-level valuation analysis and by reconciling financial statements of various CFT investment vehicles.
  • Constructs and tracks CFT investment portfolios, both Real Estate and Alternative. Helps create and maintain dashboards to provide visibility into key financial metrics.
  • Supports the implementation of financial reporting and planning systems. Participates in QA and user testing and technical training.
  • Provides recommendations to improve department efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Your background and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • Minimum five years of strategy and finance experience, including internship experience, preferably in finance, hospitality, or investment fields
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings (including but not limited to store training, Recognizing & Preventing Sexual Harassment training, Conscious Inclusion training, and Landmark Forum, etc.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P3: $90,000-$126,500 per year

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.

ADA Statement:

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
