Job Description: Essential Duties: * Provides first line shift leadership on a day-to-day basis * Oversees daily operational readiness and ensures that all ambulances are inspected, records and reports any issues, and advises the Director of immediate needs. * Manages transport workflow and assigns crew member resources * Leads employees through daily tasks and addresses personnel issues as needed * All other duties as assigned * Performs ambulance transportation services and provides patient care within their scope of practice in alignment with corresponding licensures or certifications job description (i.e. Paramedic, AEMT, EMT). * Provides quality medical care to patients requiring ambulance transportation * Ensures the safe and efficient transport of patients in a team setting * Acts in the event of an emergency to render aid to sick or injured patients * Assists other team members in completing their required tasks * Thoroughly and accurately completes all required departmental documentation * Completes patient care reports for each transport prior to the completion of their shift * Accurately documents required information for departmental data analysis * Coordinates with Office Coordinator to ensure required documents (PCS, ABN, EMTALA) are submitted with ePCR submissions * Acts as a department preceptor to onboard new employees * Serves as a role model for employees joining the department * Advises new employees on practices, expectations, and departmental standards * Provides weekly reports on new employee progress during their orientation period Minimum Requirements:
