Under general direction, serves as unit lead technologist for a designated shift serving as a department resource while ensuring tasks are completed according to established protocols. Performs routine to complex computerized tomography (CT) procedures for diagnosticpurposes in accordance with established guidelines and CT protocols. Acts as a CT subject matter expert and assists other technologists as needed. Prepares and positions patient for procedure by using established CT protocols to achieve the highest quality image. Follows protocols specified by the Radiologist. Administers contrast media orally or assists physician in intravenous administration. Enters complex data into the computer system. Reviews, verifies and evaluates CT studies and related aspects to ensure technical quality and image quality. Ensures compliance with related policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. Contributes to, and participates in, work organization, quality improvement projects, and scheduling of staff. Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent department operations. Demonstrates effective communication and conflict resolution techniques with patients, coworkers, physicians and all other health care members. Assists CT leadership with staff meetings, hiring, provides feedback for performance evaluations, and assists with other projects as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $144,678 - $159,732 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $69.29 - $76.50 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
