Job Details Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:Education: BSN is required and MSN is preferred AND Experience: Current PA RN License and current BLS certification is required 3+ years of clinical experience in a patient care setting is required, oncology experience preferred. Job Description The Nurse Navigator performs basic nursing skills, patient navigation, and data management in the outpatient setting, with a focus on enhancing both the patient experience and the quality of interdisciplinary medical care provided by this Korman Respiratory Institute Program of Excellence. The Nurse Navigator works in collaboration and continuous partnership with chronically ill or high-risk patients (Neuro-Oncology, Neurosurgery, and/or those with a diagnosis of a brain disease). A critical quality for success in this position is the ability to develop high-functioning interpersonal relationships with patients, physicians, and scheduling services for navigation of the Jefferson Health system.
