The Talent Acquisition Liaison is a key Human Resources professional that provides vital support to the recruitment team, ensuring a seamless candidate journey and an efficient hiring process. Responsibilities will span a wide variety of recruiting support functions, including: * Talent Sourcing: Assisting Recruiters with identifying, attracting and screening candidates for high priority, normally non-management positions across the organization using Keck's Applicant Tracking System (Workday) as well as various platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed and HireEZ. * Recruiter Partnership: Working in close collaboration with a specialized team of recruiters to expedite candidates through the resume review, screening, interview, and selection processes, to ensure a stellar candidate experience and reduce overall time to fill. * Comprehensive Support: Assisting with offer preparation, post-offer assessment, qualification verification, data entry and compliance auditing activities. * Recruiting Event Coordination: Coordinating virtual and in-person recruiting events and conferences. * Reporting: Developing of recruiting reports, analysis, and presentations

Essential Duties:

  • Uses various platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Workday, identifies and attracts potential candidates (primarily non-management) to the organization.
  • Identifies and manages high priority job postings to be featured on various social media platforms.
  • Supports coordination of hiring events and recruitment conferences, including candidate and/or hiring team attendance, logistics, supplies, travel, etc.
  • Assists Recruiters with screening and evaluation of resumes to identify candidates that align with job requirements.
  • Schedules candidate interviews and collects and compiles interview feedback.
  • Coordinates with Recruiters to consult with hiring managers to understand staff requirements and specific job objectives.
  • Collects and calculates years of experience form and relevant documentation.
  • Audits and verifies pre-transfer eligibility and compliance checks.
  • Using HealthStream, assists with the administration of new hires/transfers requiring clinical tests.
  • Confirms and finalizes background checks, educational requirements, and license/certification requirements ensuring that the background check is accurate and complete.
  • Manages the transition of candidate from offer acceptance to the HR Business Center onboarding team.
  • Assists with development of progress reports, metrics/analytics and presentations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Req High School or equivalent
  • Req Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or in a related field.
  • Combined experience and education may substitute for Bachelor's Degree.
  • Req 0-3 years Hands-on talent acquisition or related experience.
  • Req Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to interact with candidates, talent acquisition team members, and hiring managers.
  • Req Strong time management and the ability to handle multiple recruitment efforts simultaneously.
  • Req Knowledge of interviewing techniques and the ability to discern candidate suitability.
  • Req Proficiency in researching and identifying potential talent through various channels and sources.
  • Req Able to ensure all aspects of the hiring process are handled with precision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pref 1 year Hospital or healthcare experience
  • Pref Ability to interpret and apply pertinent rules and regulations and identify and implement continuous process improvements.
  • Pref Knowledge of Workday
  • Pref Experience working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)

The hourly rate range for this position is $25.00 - $39.69. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
