What you will be doing: As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining semiconductor fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment. You will ensure the production of high-quality semiconductor wafers (microchips) by following standard operating procedures and safety protocols while working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. How you will get it done:
  • Operate assigned machines in a cleanroom environment adhering to strict safety guidelines.
  • Load and unload wafer production machines with precision to prevent defects and contamination.
  • Follow standard instructions and documented procedures to ensure consistency.
  • Perform quality inspections on finished products.
  • Record process data, maintain logs, and report any deviations or issues.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Comfortable working a 12-hour assigned shift schedule.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Ability to clearly speak, read, and write in English
  • Basic understanding of computer data entry.
  • Ability to stand for long periods wearing full cleanroom attire (bunny suit) and where you may be exposed to chemicals, gases, extreme heat and high-tech manufacturing equipment with appropriate safety measures.
  • May require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Handling delicate semiconductor materials with two-handed grip and grasp, and perform safe handling functions (i.e. load, unload, transfer, transport, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or technical certification in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics, or a related field is desired.
  • Prior experience in semiconductor fabrication, cleanroom environments, or operating automated machinery is preferred but not required.
D (P)-Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Wed 5:50 pm - 6:00 am Pay: $19.00 per hour plus 22% shift differential and overtime! Total hourly salary - $23.18, plus annual incentive program. *Sponsorship is not available for this position now or in the future
