Role Summary:

The Finance Chief of Staff will provide strategic and executional support to the Global Chief Financial Officer and the Finance COO. This individual will also support key initiatives and meetings on behalf of the Financial Leadership Team (FLT). This role will act as a critical partner to the CFO and Finance COO to ensure delivery of key finance initiatives, clearly defined and well-executed finance messaging and communication to the broader JLL business, and efficient, streamlined internal finance leader interactions and team meetings. Specifically, this role will:

  • Work closely with the CFO and Finance COO to set and drive the FLT strategic agenda each year
  • Set agendas, take meeting minutes, and distribute and track action items for all FLT meetings
  • Help identify, monitor, and track key CFO priorities
  • Coordinate the preparation, review, and posting of materials for GEB and Board meetings
  • Assist with preparations for L-band, EFLT, Town Halls, and other relevant forums
  • Support the planning and execution of bi-annual, in-person FLT meetings
  • Provide project management support to critical Finance initiatives, as needed
  • Proactively identify important connection points, change management gaps, and other critical considerations to ensure initiatives are successfully implemented
  • Provide the CFO with preparatory material for client meetings and conferences
  • Prepare meeting materials and ad hoc analyses, as needed
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Global CFO, Finance COO, and other FLT leaders
  • Act as point person for Finance communications initiatives (both with Finance and from Finance to the business)
  • Liaise with other GEB member Chiefs of Staff to ensure continuity of messaging and shared alignment on objectives
  • Co-own the annual Finance communications calendar (with Communications)

This position will report to the Finance COO.

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

  • Excellent multi-tasking, project management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to drive outcomes and hold individuals accountable to timelines
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High emotional intelligence and excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to engage in wide ranging discussions and distil the most important takeaways and action items
  • Ability to organize, manage and direct teams across multiple departments
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize important tasks over others
  • Strong understanding of change management best practices
  • Ability to handle confidential information with maturity and discretion

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant finance, project management, and/or administrative experience
  • Highly proficient using Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, to develop compelling executive-level materials
  • Proven success in a project management related activities/role
  • PMO Certification is a plus

Estimated total compensation for this position:

168,000.00 - 290,625.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
