Our client creates products that protect and support the world's most valuable assets. We support advanced solutions for telecommunications, renewable energy, transportation, defense, and other applications worldwide.

This position will create part numbers in SAP and create/maintain Bills of Material. Support SAP routing creation and maintenance. Adherence to description standards will be expected. Assist Engineering with change management and communication with involved parties. Willingness to adapt and assist will be necessary to succeed in this role. This is an onsite full-time, in-office position.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

* Create/Maintain Mass Maintenance of part numbers in SAP

* Create/Maintain Mass Bill of Materials

* Possess an understanding of SAP part types and the setup SAP requires for a multi-plant production scenario

* Maintain SAP Material Master Data and BOM according to Engineering changes

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

* 1-3 years experience with working knowledge of SAP modules

* Ability to read manufacturing drawings

* Understand work order creation and maintenance

* SAP, MM, and BOM Maintenance

* Attention to detail

* Microsoft Office Product Suite with advanced Excel knowledge

* Helpful to possess an understanding of manufacturing processes, shop floor workflow

Physical Demands:

Minimal to light physical effort is generally required. Standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing are regularly required. Finger dexterity is required while using computers, keyboards, and other standard office equipment

* Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines

* Able to handle more complex assignments with little direction

* Able to effectively train others in Planning processes and procedures
