Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.



Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. A minimum of 4 years' experience in a clinical setting or direct patient care experience or successful completion in an accredited medical assistant training program or EMT license required.

2. High school diploma or equivalent required.

3. Must be fluent in English, including reading and writing.

4. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

5. Office Laboratory Assistant License from the State of Nevada is required within 90 days of hire (department specific).

6. Must possess or obtain the computer skills necessary to complete job-specific competencies, access forms and policies, complete benefits enrollment, etc. within the first 90 days of employment.
