Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Facilities Operations Manager to support the C3C / Kessel Run (KR) Division, which is within the USAF C3BM Directorate.

This is a full-time position hybrid to an Air Force Base



Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

    Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
  • Record and maintain information on safety certifications and inspections
  • Manage data, adjust and track work orders
  • Act as a liaison/focal point with all functional branches and shop supervisors
  • Project work schedules and recurring work plans
  • Dispatch service calls and do-it-now emergency response teams
  • Collect and record budget information
  • Coordinate with engineering technicians for mechanical equipment, air conditioning, refrigeration, fire systems, stand-by emergency power, and related preventative maintenance programs
  • Oversee the assignment of reserved parking spaces
  • Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of facility
  • Oversee/manage major facility modifications/repairs (i.e. Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, plumbing, electrical and structural changes)
  • Perform minor facility repairs (i.e. light bulb replacements, hand-tool adjustments for tightening items, hang approved wall pictures, building temperature adjustments)
  • Support group readiness for base readiness exercises and unit compliance inspection activities as required
  • Help manage division self-inspection processes, including checklist tracking and completion, Management Inspection Control Tool (MICT) Administrator
  • Utilize Task Management Tools, Workflow, LiveLink, and other necessary Government tracking systems
  • Manage all official mail, Fed Ex, and UPS pickups/deliveries
  • Assist with building evacuation plans, ensure compliance with accountability


Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level Clearance

Education: BA/BS Degree

Years of Experience: 10 years of directly related experience with 5 years of experience in a DoD setting

  • Extensive product management experience in customer facing technology
  • Experience of leveraging testing and research techniques such as A/B or spli testing, usability, and/or other customer research techniques
  • Experience in tactical experience with analytics and dashboarding tools such as Google Analytics, Google Optimize and Looker (or tools with similar functionality)
  • Experience with agile and lean methodologies
  • Experience with the full product development life cycle, with success managing medium to large size products through various phases, from vision to launch
  • Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic, fast-paced tech-savvy organization
  • Deep understanding of business strategy and metrics
  • Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience synthesizing data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to the senior leadership level
  • Experience with the full product development life cycle, with success managing medium to large size products through various phases, from vision to launch
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for customer-focused innovation
