We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting top talent for professional roles, with a focus on technical positions. This role will support the organization's growth by ensuring a robust pipeline of highly qualified candidates for various positions within engineering, technology, and other key professional functions. This position is vital to driving the company's talent acquisition efforts, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified candidates, and supporting business growth through effective recruiting strategies. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with company needs and goals, while maintaining high levels of candidate engagement and employer branding.

Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and execute the recruiting process and talent strategy to attract top candidates for a variety of positions, using multiple sourcing methods (data mining of social networking sites, job fairs, employee referrals, etc.).
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and drive targeted recruiting campaigns that align with company strategies while adhering to established hiring processes.
  • Develop and manage advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates. Represent the company at job fairs and local events to increase brand awareness.
  • Ensure continuous development of sourcing and recruiting skills by staying current with the latest recruiting technologies and methods.
  • Own the content for online recruitment tools and maintain accuracy of all job postings. Actively market roles to targeted applicants.
  • Maintain and manage candidate activity in an applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure an organized and efficient recruitment process.
  • Manage internal job transfers
  • Train new hiring managers on the recruitment process and interviewing techniques. Provide support in onboarding, and act as a backup for onboarding team members when needed.
  • Oversee the screening of initial resumes, manage interview scheduling, and conduct interviews as necessary.
  • Coordinate background/reference checks, drug screens, physicals, and any other required assessments.
  • Manage logistics related to interviews, including travel arrangements, virtual interviews, and temporary living accommodations.
  • Collaborate with external legal resources to address visa and employment eligibility matters.
  • Actively manage and promote the employee referral program to drive internal talent acquisition.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date recruiting metrics, data, and reports as needed.
  • Work on other recruitment-related projects as assigned.


Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a focus on professional roles and engineering positions. Experience in sourcing technical talent is highly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of recruiting best practices, talent pipelines, sourcing techniques, and ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and organizational effectiveness.
    • Ability to build relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to track recruitment metrics and derive insights.
    • High sense of responsibility, persistence, and confidentiality with strong organizational skills.
    • Self-motivated. Effective and unpressured with time-sensitive tasks.
    • Customer-service mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and driving organizational success.
    • Willingness to travel to career fairs, and other events as necessary is required.
    • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or other sourcing platforms.
    • Exposure to working in a fast-paced or high-growth company.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
    • Knowledge of recruitment tools, applicant tracking software and/or HRIS.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish nice to have, but not required.
