How you can make a difference
We are looking for a talented AVP, Product Marketing who will lead the vision for our Existing Product portfolio and our New and Emerging Product portfolio, grounded in the voice of the customer, value proposition development, and activating your cross-functional marketing partners to design and execute against go-to-market strategies that drive the adoption of HealthEquity's product offerings. As an executive leader of the Marketing team, reporting directly to the CMO, you will work collaboratively and cross functionally with technology, product, and commercial team leaders (including sales, relationship management, marketing, and operations) to influence development strategies, direct, and recommend market positioning of our products and services. HealthEquity is the largest HSA provider in the market and will look to you to innovate and communicate the overall product offering to our valued partners, clients, and prospects.
You will have a proven track record of successful B2B and B2B2C product marketing from the concept to launch phases, preferably in the healthcare and/or benefits industries, and shared accountability for driving $100M+ growth in annual product revenue, as well as supporting core product lines generating over $1B in revenue. Key strengths will include executive presence and influence, the creation of high-quality, differentiated product narratives, presentations, briefs, and core collateral, and expertise leading the development and execution of enterprise level go-to-market strategies across multiple executive stakeholders. You will be expected to lead, develop, and performance manage a team of talented Product Marketers and their contributions throughout the phases of product development for both new and existing products and features. You will elevate how HealthEquity articulates the value of our products' differentiated value, as well as setting best-in-class standards to stay ahead of market trends and aligning with Brand to solidify our position as the #1 provider of HSAs and other consumer-directed benefits in the US.
What you'll be doing
    Build foundational capabilities for best-in-class product marketing: persona development and targeting, product market fit and voice of customer research, content strategy and briefing, and competitive positioning.
  • Oversee the development of external launch strategies, and partner with functions like Business Readiness and Sales Enablement to prepare internal and external stakeholders to successfully bring new products and features to market
  • Develop go-to-market strategies informed by voice of customer input, ultimately supporting the company's goals product sales and adoption goals
  • Lead the research strategy on consumer, employer, and broker/consultant or other partner opinions and marketing approaches to aid in performance measurement
  • Lead overall product messaging, concept, and UX testing in partnership with the Product team
  • As a key stakeholder in the full life cycle product development process and launch execution, help identify and define processes to ensure scalability, measurement, and customer-centricity; as well as accelerate speed to market
  • Manage a team of Product Marketing Managers through constructive feedback, coaching, and leadership
  • Work cross functionally with Product, B2B Marketing, and Brand to deliver executive and sales presentations, product positioning documents, value propositions, core collateral, and web content
  • Lead the development of Product Marketing KPIs metrics to track and report out on overall effectiveness
  • Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned
What you will need to be successful
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required 10+ years of relatable professional experience
  • 5+ years of management and team leadership experience
  • 3+ years leading developing and enhancing go-to-market strategies
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of enterprise level product marketing
  • Strong project management experience
  • Ability to influence and gather internal support cross functionally
  • Strong quantitative analytical ability
  • Superior communication skills both verbal and written
  • Overall passion to position HealthEquity competitively in the marketplace to drive business results

Salary Range

$159000.00 To $210500.00 / year

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. This position will be eligible for performance-based incentives and restricted stock units as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits including:
