The UHS Program Management Department is hiring an Implementation Specialist to provide implementation support to new Behavioral Health (BH) Joint Venture (JV) and de Novo projects, providing coordination, assessment, and planning.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Participate in new business integration steering committees, planning workgroups, and any related process team meetings; communicate across all corporate departments and regional operations of any obstacles or barriers to task completion and ensure follow up occurs
  • Provides support on operational aspects of the project and build
  • Participate in committees and planning workgroups, and any related process team meetings related to hospital implementation and plans
  • Work with each ancillary team to ensure/confirm adequate equipment, space, and operational flow is created/provided
  • Identify people, process and technology changes that will improve the process and meet/exceed the business objectives
  • Support Implementation Director to meet all new business integration milestones and progress goals
  • Support corporate teams and planning for new business integration of JV's
  • Provide support to corporate development during initiation/inception phase, coordinate transition from corporate development to new business integration team, with seamless hand-off to regional operations at culmination of implementation and licensing (specific extraction times may vary at each project but generally within a few months post The Joint Commission Certification)
  • Participates in townhall meetings and/or 'snack & learns' to partner staff prior to opening to educate and socialize UHS practices and approaches to clinical service delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience in behavioral health hospital operations or related experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or ongoing operations simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, nationally
