We have remote adjunct opportunities available in all US States, with the exception of California.

The Opportunity

We invite passionate educators to join us as Online Adjunct Faculty in our Psychology program, contributing remotely from any US state (excluding California). Our online faculty provide high-quality, "real" scenario-based learning experiences through their own direct experience with the below content to ensure that each learner has the support they need to gain real-world skills applicable to their present and future careers.

Looking for instructors to teach the below undergraduate-level courses:

HSE101Introduction to Human Services (Online)

HSE310Family and Community Systems (Online)

You'll Get To:

  • Have a positive emotional disposition and growth mindset toward your students and themselves
  • Provide a high level of learner outreach and connect with learners, academic advisors, and team leaders on a frequent basis to ensure the success of your learners
  • Use your professional experience and content expertise to support scenario-based learning & dialogue in the classroom
  • Demonstrate your ability to manage an emotionally safe classroom, providing substantive feedback to your learners, assignment clarification, and guidance on assignments, concepts, and course resources

What we're Looking For:

  • Master's Degree in Human Services; Social Work; Counseling; Related Field from an accredited higher education institution
  • 2+ years of professional field experience specific to course content

Please ensure that your resume is up to date, reflecting your direct experience with the course content.

Work Hours:

This posting is hiring for future term starts, dates to be assigned later. This is a remote position, teaching asynchronous courses.

Compensation:

The standard compensation is $2,200 per 8-week for most undergraduate courses. Adjuncts are paid bi-weekly and are considered W-2 employees of Southern NH University.

Compensation

The standard compensation for courses is $2,200 per 8-week undergraduate course and $2,500 per 10-week graduate course. Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.
