Position Summary

What you'll do:

This is a paid Summer Internship Program (early June to early August). As an intern with our Application Development and Enterprise Architecture group, you'll assist with standard business analyst functions and enterprise architecture tasks. This includes gathering business requirements, analyzing workflows, helping to build applications portfolio management, drawing process diagrams, data flow diagrams, and documentation. You will have an opportunity to collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Software Developers to align activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You'll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:



  • 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to structure basic reports in Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • No relocation or housing assistance is being offered.

DESIRED



  • Exposure to business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, data flow diagrams, and documentation (such as Visio).
  • Exposure to physical tools as used for home improvement, wood working, automotive related and similar, programming whether as part of coursework or as a hobby.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of appropriate steps to analytical problem solving.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
