Job Description:

This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.

Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations - The Auto Club Group

What you will do:

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational effectiveness of the talent acquisition function, ensuring efficient processes, tools, and systems to support the organization's hiring goals. Partners with Director Talent Acquisition to develop plans to execute strategy. Collaborate with recruiting teams, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to develop plans and implement solutions that improve the candidate and hiring team experience while driving measurable results. Understand and utilize systems, user experience reporting and industry best practices to optimize overall operations.

Key Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordination Team Oversight:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline and gain efficiencies within the coordination process and onboarding
    • Reporting and analysis of errors made in the requisition management process from recruiters and coordinators
    • Candidate background check process oversight
    • Identify automation opportunities
  • Compliance:
    • Recruiter processes and procedures meet compliance standards set by TA to measure for performance and ensure consistency within our processes
    • Partner with HR Compliance Committee to represent TA and ensure we maintain compliance internally and externally
    • Partner with Legal and Employee Relations on litigations and complaints as it relates to TA, our processes, and candidates
  • Diversity Outreach:
    • Partner with internal DEI team and determine strategy for TA DEI
    • Lead TA Recruiter that will deliver on the day to day of that strategy
    • Identify internal and external partnerships to build and leverage to meet DEI initiatives
    • Attend DEI committee meetings and represent TA
  • TA Process Standardization and Documentation:
    • Ensure that TA operates within consistent processes through systems and reporting
    • Assess current documentation process and redesign for consistency, clarity, and ease of use
    • Identify ways to gain efficiencies with TA processes
  • Training and Enablement:
    • Partner with TA Leaders and TA Analyst to educate and train TA on standardized processes, new rollout, and compliance adherence
  • Other duties and projects as assigned to support the TA function overall

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage team of management, professional and support staff in accordance with corporate and Human Resource policies and procedures.

II. Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)

Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):

  • Bachelor's degree or ten years of experience working directly with Talent Acquisition in an operational capacity

Or

  • Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience working directly with Talent Acquisition in an operational capacity

Experience:

  • Leading and executing project and program management
  • Process mapping to develop or enhance process guides and SOPs to ensure consistent and compliant approach across multiple teams in TA
  • Training and educating recruiters on best practices and new processes
  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to guide and influence new strategies, and processes
  • Executing data-driven approach to measuring success and refining strategies
  • Demonstrated success in managing large scale projects that impact multiple teams
  • Demonstrated strong people management skills, while coaching and developing both individual contributors and other people leaders
  • Management ability to include:
    • Workforce management & employee development
    • Coordinating and controlling major projects
    • Organizing and planning
    • Budget preparation
    • Policy development and implementation
    • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of:

  • DEI initiatives, programs, and partnerships
  • Influencing for change management at all levels
  • Workday or other ATS platforms
  • Recruiting processes and procedures
  • Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Data Analysis

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail Oriented
