DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Supervisor 2, you will examine and enter data from source and response documents, ensuring the effective management of vehicle registration suspensions, including their compliance, restoration, rescindment, or deletion.
In this role, you will rigorously verify the accuracy of insurance information submitted to the Department by confirming its validity with the appropriate insurance carriers. You will lead your team in essential clerical tasks such as document examination, data entry, and responding to inquiries with professionalism. Additionally, you will guide your team in reviewing records to decisively determine whether a motorist's vehicle registration should be suspended for lack of financial responsibility. Supporting the manager of the financial responsibility section, you will conduct thorough audits of self-certifications, cancellations, and violations, playing a key role in identifying uninsured motorists. You will effectively address inquiries from insurance companies regarding Pennsylvania's electronic reporting process and meticulously review test files from those initiating the reporting process to ensure all necessary information is included. Your contributions will be instrumental in maintaining compliance and championing financial responsibility within our community.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Supervisor 1; or
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 3; or
- Two years of as a Clerical Assistant 2; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
