| Description General Summary The Safety Coordinator is responsible for evaluating field and/or Division safety conditions through auditing, and monitoring, and advising company management on findings, as well as communicating the company's safety programs. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating, communicating, and maintaining TEAMs safety programs, and ensuring that both company and client safety rules and governmental safety requirements are enforced at the jobsite.  Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concernPerforms all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM's Core ValuesProvides direction to jobsite supervisors in safe work practices on the jobsiteResolves safety concerns in the field in a timely mannerCommunicates with management and clients providing updates on safety activitiesPerforms routine safety inspections on job site and documents all safety inspection activitiesInvestigates, reports, and follows-up on all work related injuries and accidentsInitiates all needed recordkeeping on accidents and near misses, relays information to corporate, and maintains files on each caseEnsures Districts are in compliance with safety and technical training requirementsEnsures Districts are maintaining an adequate supply of approved safety PPE, such as ear plugs, glasses, gloves, harnesses, etc.Reviews and assists Districts with maintaining all required OHSA logs and summaries for injuriesConducts Smith System driver training as needed and maintains all associated recordsWorks with Managers and Supervisors to ensure Field Evaluations and Job Safety Analysis Audits are performed properly and maintains associated filesConducts random vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are in acceptable operating condition and contain the required safety equipmentConducts and/or assists, as needed, with monthly safety meetings for the DistrictsEnsures that all vehicle and PPE Inspections are completedEnsures Districts are maintaining the most current safety, training, and QA manuals as well as training aidesAssists Districts with completing customer issued PQF formsPerforms scheduled audits and provides comprehensive reports for the Districts to ensure compliance with applicable TISI, OSHA, DOT, RSPA, FMCSA and EPA Safety Policies and Standards.
 Job Qualifications 
  
 High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociates degree in a Health safety or environmental related disciplineTwo (2) to four (4) years prior experience in safety role in an industrial settingHolds OSHA certifications in at least 30 hour courses or other equivalent certifications
 Work Conditions 
  
 Position is based out of a District locationField duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphereInteraction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnelWorking in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levelsMust be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protectionMay be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes
