UI Engineer (Associate) You will:
- Collaborate with a global cross functional team in building customer-centric products
- Analyze existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and provide estimates for implementing new features
- Follow standard software development guidelines and best practices
- Create and maintain test plans, documentation and automated testing routines for all technical changes

Basic Qualifications
- Degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- 3-5 years hands-on experience building UI components or interactions using JS
- Knowledge of front-end Web development, with specific experience executing sophisticated visual designs and interactions
- Experienced in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/Typescript
- Experienced in testing framework like jest, enzyme and built tools using npm, yarn
- Experience with modern JavaScript, front-end frameworks, and preprocessors (React, Redux, babel, Typescript) particularly contributing to a large codebase supporting a complex website or webapp
- Experience integrating with RESTful Services and APIs
- Knowledge of single page application architecture
- An appreciation of design and the ability to asses technical feasibility of UX/UI
- Demonstrated knowledge of high level web architecture, Akamai / CDN caching, usage of Chrome dev tools and nuances of various browsers a big plus
- Experience translating UX/UI design into functional components
- Impeccable attention to detail, with a particular eye towards executing new functionality against an existing set of technical standards and within a design's visual grammar
- Experience working with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience in Apollo GraphQL, NodeJS, NextJS
- Experience using UX/UI tools like Figma, Invision
Salary Range The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $95000-$145000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
