The Management Development Program Trainee is responsible for working in several divisions of Warren Cat learning the core of the business to grow into a management/leadership position within Product Support. The position is part of a six-month rotational program intended for internal candidates to facilitate their transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunity. During the program, you will receive real-time experience, gaining knowledge of Warren CAT, Warren Equipment Company, and practical leadership skills that contribute to your growth and the success of our organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Learn day-to-day functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business.
  • Attend company-sponsored training classes.
  • Required to give periodic presentations that will provide consultation on improvement to Executive Management Team during and at the conclusion of the program.
  • Receive training and perform duties in several Product Support departments.
  • You will be assigned projects to lead and plan for both long-term and short-term business objectives.



WHAT YOU'LL NEED:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three to six months of related experience or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with computers and programs (Word, Excel, Power Point) is required.
  • An adventurous attitude and spirit to learn.
  • Proven character-driven leadership experience.
  • Ability to relocate to any Warren CAT location at the completion of the program.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record is required.
