About the Role:

As the Trade Marketing Manager for FMC (Ferrero Mainstream Chocolate), you will be responsible for developing and executing portfolio DSMP strategies and initiatives designed to accelerate Mainstream (Everyday & Seasonal) Chocolate growth during key seasonal timeframes. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success and growth of the Mainstream Chocolate segment, driving increased sales and market share. You will own DSMP KPI attainment for your assigned segment and support key cross-functional internal relationships, including Marketing, Category Management, Sales Operations, RGM, and Sales Account Teams, ensuring cohesive and effective collaboration.

This role is Hybrid and will be based in our Parsippany, N.J. office. This role reports to the Sr. Trade Marketing Manager for FMC.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensures attainment of Front End and Mainstream brand KPI targets including KPI tracking and action plans
  • Develops sales tool kits (e.g. selling stories) in support of launches or initiatives
  • Develop Go To Market deck and initiatives based on Marketing priorities focused on key seasonal windows ensuring balance and appropriate focus among brands
  • Identify key seasonal opportunities at channel/customer level
  • Tracks promo effectiveness at strategic customers. Identifies opportunities to improve ROI
  • Provides input into demand planning process to ensure customer trends are accurately reflected in forecasts
  • Partner with Revenue Growth Management, Marketing and Category Management to develop appropriate range by channel to maximize sales and profitability for each occasion
  • Provide feedback to Category Management regarding insight requirements leading to expanded range or enhanced merchandising support at key seasonal timeframes.
  • Partners with Category Management to develop post season assessment including lessons learned and indicated actions
  • Partners with Category, Brand Marketing, & Other Cross Functional teams to ensure best in class state of readiness is achieved for all innovation launches


Who we are looking for:

  • Minimum5 years' experience, across NorthAmerica in a CPG setting, with Customer Management experience
  • Multi-channel CPG experience including: C-store, Mass, Grocery, Dollar, e-Comm & EU Discounters
  • Experience of Brand / Trade / Customer Marketing, supporting delivery of effective JBP's
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or similar
  • Experience of Trade Promotional Management and Seasonal Confections
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to outline and reinforce the Trade Mktg. & DSMP strategy
  • Ability to manage a range of projects with differing priorities, delivery dates and scopes while appropriately keeping the correct cross-functional decision makers up-to-date
  • Strong decision making and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at the most Senior levels
  • Commercially astute with strong business sense and excellent problem solving / analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including the knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
  • Global mindset and a desire to build a successful career with a growing global company
